Corey had surgery on Monday to remove his non-functioning right kidney. The surgery went well and he is at home recovering. They were able to remove it laparoscopically, so his recovery should be short. Corey asked the doctor for a picture of the kidney (which the doctor admitted was a first) so HERE IT IS (not for the squeemish). Corey sends a big THANK YOU to all the nurses on 4 NORTH for taking good care of him (and us)!

KENNY THE KIDNEY
Corey had surgery on Monday to remove his non-functioning right kidney. The surgery went well and he is at home recovering.
