Mary's friend from work called and left a message last night and asked if we would like her BON JOVI tickets - it seems her daughter was taking her final test for her black belt and they had to attend that instead...Mary and I looked at each other and rolled our eyes and laughed, but as it turned out it was one of those RARE Saturday nights that we both had off and Sheila agreed to watch the kids so...what the heck, how bad could it be?Well...let's put it this way...the show is probably still going on as I type this...and I'm sure the sold-out Forum is still rocking...but we couldn't take any more...Mary and I actually made it through almost 45 minutes of it before we both looked at each other, rolled our eyes and headed for the exit...but not before getting a much needed drink and handing over our stubs to a wayward BONJOVISKANK on her way up to the nosebleeds...she looked doubtfully at the tickets at first, but her eyes lit up when she realized that she was going to be SO MUCH CLOSER TO JON...
"THANKS!" she slurred
I couldn't resist..."Have a nice day"

My friend at work is possibly Bon Jovi's biggest fan ever. She has tried to meet him for almost 20 years now!!!

Your friend is not alone - there were THOUSANDS of girls like her there (and all over this world) - I guess it goes to show that LOOKS beat out TALENT every time!
Ain't it the truth, Rock & Roll and Acting both gravitate towards looks over talents all the time!
